Every year we get at least a day or two of great snow. Just enough to play in but not enough to be a nuisance! My favorite kind of snow.

Every year we look forward to whale watching season. You’ll find us lingering by the living room window searching for a sign of a gray whale swimming by. And every once in awhile someone will start jumping up and down having just spotted a spout shooting high up into the air.
Knowing that we are practically neighbors, even if just for a season, to these magnificent creatures is one of my favorite things about living on the coast.
