Wayfarer Restaurant
One of our favorite things about running a motel is the hospitality aspect. We love to meet our guests, recommend them to the best spots, and make sure they have a great time while visiting us. I love to eat (I could really do it all day long if I had a large enough stomach) so making sure we have great food recommendations is really important to us. Which means, lucky for me, we have to go out to eat every once in awhile to make sure we hit up each restaurant in the area. How else can we send a guest somewhere if we don’t know what they are in store for?!
We recently visited the Wayfarer Restaurant in Cannon Beach for dinner. I really can’t believe it’s taken us so long to visit this place. Amazing. Simply delicious. The Wayfarer offers a lovely menu full of local cuisine. I won’t go into too much detail but I will say our meal was absolutely delightful. Mike’s steak was cooked to medium-rare with precision. My sole was simply prepared and finished with a divine Oregon Berry sauce. We split a slice of toasted pound cake for dessert drizzled with a burnt caramel sauce that I’m still thinking about. The dessert was so good, I didn’t even think to take a photo until we have devoured the entire thing!
